Summertime Fun!

We have been having such a fun summer, I haven't had a chance to update in a while. Since the last post, we have celebrated the 4th of July, made a trip to Pigeon Forge, left our bug for the first time overnight and spent a weekend in Vegas, and of course, Keller turned 6 months old! It has been a busy July, no doubt; and we are getting ready for Keller's baptism on Sunday.
As far as Keller goes, he had 2 major milestones this month..... He now has TWO TEETH :) and..... he can SIT UP on his own! Its so adorable to see him smile with 2 little teeth sticking out of his bottom gums. Now that he can sit up, its a whole new world. He can ride in the grocery cart, sit in the highchair at restaurants, and best of all, he can ride in the hiking pack! Its been way to hot to hike, but as soon as it cools down a bit, its on! Keller went for his 1st hike while we were in Pigeon Forge. He rode in the stroller as we hike a paved path (about 1.25 miles) up to a waterfall. Keller was definitely impressed :) Keller also had a chance to meet his great aunts, uncles, and cousins from Ohio. It was great to have lots of family together!
We had friends and family over at our house for the 4th of July. It was raining so the neighborhood firework show was delayed and a little short, but we managed to have a good time none the less! Keller slept through all of the fireworks, as suspected. The parents' trip to Vegas was a fantastic break, however, we've realized that not only is a vacation with a baby different, a vacation without a baby is different as well. We missed buggie sooo much, definitely can't completely relax (I guess we have at least another 21 years or more before that happens).
The latest news with our family is Sean got a new job which is he much happier in, and I have been offered an opportunity to work from home 4 days a week. Its all very exciting :) We will have to find care for Keller closer to home, so he'll be leaving the Clifton School which definitely loves, but it will be worth it. I'll get 2 more hours a day at home with my lovebug and I'm sure he'll love his next caretaker(s) too!
